Bury Pride respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This privacy policy will inform you as to how we look after your personal data when you visit our website (regardless of where you visit from) and tells you about your privacy rights and how the law protects you.

This privacy policy gives you information on how Bury Pride collects and processes your personal data through your use of this website and/or use our app, including any data you may provide through this website and/or our app when you sign up to our newsletter, sign up for our events, sign up to volunteer, take part in a parade, or donate to us. It is important that you read this privacy policy carefully together with any other privacy policy or fair processing notice we may provide on specific occasions when we are collecting or processing personal data about you so that you are fully aware of how and why we are using your data. This privacy policy supplements the other notices and is not intended to override them.
We collect, use and are responsible for certain personal data about you. When we do so we are subject to data protection laws applicable in the United Kingdom and we are responsible as ‘controller’ of that personal data for the purposes of those laws.

Key Terms
Comply with a legal or regulatory obligation means processing your personal data where it is necessary for compliance with a legal or regulatory obligation that we are subject to.

The data we collect about you
Personal data, or personal information, means any information about a living individual from which that person can be identified. It does not include data where it is no longer possible to identity the person (anonymous data).

- Contact Data includes billing address, delivery address, email address and telephone numbers. Financial Data includes bank account and payment card details.
- Transaction Data includes details about payments to and from you and other details of products and services you have purchased from us.
